Anna, a new widow, comes to stay in the run-down motel room her husband had rented as an art studio—where she meets an eclectic mix of residents and Cass, the jaded manager, who’s running the old apartments for a place to live after being dumped by her cheating ex. The more Anna learns about her husband, the less sense things seem to make, and she finds herself wondering if she really knew her husband at all. And when threatening letters start appearing at her door, Anna has to decide what’s more important—the truth, or her own safety.
